GUJAR KHAN - The police in Gujar Khan have made significant progress in solving two distinct murder cases with the apprehension of key suspects on Friday. In the first case, authorities detained Jameel, a resident of Changa Bangial, who had been on the run since allegedly killing Muhammad Amir in December 2023. ASP Syed Daniyal Hassan reported that the case was initially classified as a blind murder due to the lack of identified suspects. However, further investigations uncovered that the motive behind the murder stemmed from a disagreement over a marriage proposal. Jameel and his accomplices reportedly bound the victim's hands and feet, covered his face, and disposed of the body in a nearby dam. One of the co-accused had already been captured during the initial stages of the investigation. In another case, police arrested Waqas, who is charged with the shooting death of Sajad Hussain over a property dispute. This incident took place approximately a month ago, and one of Waqas's accomplices had also been arrested previously. ASP Daniyal stated that these arrests were the result of a series of focused raids and thorough investigative work. He emphasized that both suspects would be brought before the court with ample evidence to ensure they face justice for their actions..
